•    My client is a leading provider of ERP software
•    Following recent growth,they are looking for a Design Architect
•    This role is based in the Basingstoke office
•    The architect will be responsible for developments, enhancements, and maintenance of their products

Essential Experience:

•    Designing solutions for the ERP market place
•    Working closely with customers to understand the requirements
•    Ability to convert these requirements into a design for the developers
•    Working with developers during implementation
•    Experience of testing the functionality to make sure it meets the original customer requirements
•    Supporting customers on functional issues post implementation

Preferred Experience:

•    Experience of import and export technologies
•    Experience of EDI technologies and their use within business
•    Working background in Oracle and/or SQL Server RDBMS
•    Knowledge of ERP Systems (e.g. Tropos, JDE, System 21, Movex, Navision)
•    Working experience with a professional service based environment
•    Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Optional Experience:

•    Experience of Whisky marketplace
•    Experience of other relational databases other than SQL/Oracle
•    Experience of Supportworks, MKS Integrity and Jira Systems

Person Specification:

•    Degree in computer science or Business Degree with strong interest in computers
•    Ability to work in a team
